While I agree that "plug-in" may be becoming a "buzz-word", it's what we want.

We can already do the "stand alone object conversion utility" method, but it's
more work than it needs to be. Right now we are using Alias V6, (Chris is in
Toronto this week, and is supposed to be bringing back V7) which sucks as a
polygonal modeler. We have to save in DXF format (which seems to have
occasional problems as well) then do polygon reductions on the resulting
object, then convert to PlayStaion's object format, add textures, colors,
smoothing, etc.. then convert again to code... So, we're looking for a way to
make this a much faster and more efficient process, like, using LightWave PC
and saving directly to the PlayStation's format.
